A few hours ago, former TNA Wrestler and WWE Superstar Matt Hardy posted a YouTube video with an apparent suicide message.
The video itself was just a scrolling text message (see below) that said he only had a few hours left and ended with his date of birth followed by the date of his anticipated suicide.
After law enforcement officers became aware of the video that Matt Hardy posted on his YouTube account and te accompanying twitter message that simply said "Goodbye" with a link to his suicide video, they decided to visit Matt Hardy's home to check up on his well being.
After banging on his door a few times and not getting a response, officers decided to force there way in. This is where they discovered the body of Matt Hardy lying in bed with an empty bottle of prescription painkillers in his hand.
An official autopsy will be peformed my the medical examiner. Toxicology reports will take weeks, but at this time it is an apparent suicide from a drug overdose.
This was the original Matt Hardy Suicide video which was subsequently removed from YouTube because of it's content. I did not produce this video, this is a re-upload of what the REAL Matt Hardy posted on his official YouTube account.
